Sharon Miller

Sharon J. (Proper-Ross) Miller, age 65 of Erie, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 following a brief illness.

She was born in Townville, PA on July 26, 1949, a daughter of the late Howard and Jean Amsler Proper.

Sharon Graduated from McDowell High School, class of 1967, and had been a waitress at Dominick’s Restaurant for many years, and also worked at the Blair Call Center for a few years.

She loved spending time with her granddaughters and blowing bubbles with them. Sharon also loved gardening, being with her best friends of more than 40 years, Janet Hanes, Maryjo Westcott and Cheryl Babo-(Teliski).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Paul Ross, granddaughter Katie Jean Eliason, and significant other Ron Antonick.

Survivors include her daughter Lisa J. Eliason (Ross); brothers Terry Proper, wife Jill and Mark Proper, wife Linda; granddaughters: Brittny Eliason and Ashley Eliason; niece Julie Walker, and nephews Steve Proper and Brenton Proper.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a service there on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
