Scott Hinkle

Scott A. Hinkle, age 52, of Erie, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Erie, May, 25, 1969 to Marvin “Jack” Hinkle and Joyce Elaine Hinkle. Scott worked with Local 603 Labors Union for over 25 years.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Steve Hinkle.

Scott is survived by his daughters, Samantha Hinkle, and Tawnie Cote’ Hinkle. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Alanna Marie (Nana), Kylie Michelle (Kyky), CJ (BooBoo), Serenity Mae (Minnie Me), and his girlfriend of 10 years, Kelly Pett, and her daughters, Jamie Lewis, and Shannon Reynolds as well as his brother, John Hinkle and his wife Marsha.

Scott loved motorcycles, bald eagles, and the Indians. He was so proud to be an American. Scott was great with crafting leather, working on cars and was the best grandfather, he loved his grandchildren with all of his heart. He will always be remembered for saying “I gotta be me.”
