Robert Stone

Robert Charles Stone, age 71, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Nightingale Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was born on June 4, 1950, in Erie, the only son to Richard and Arline Ford Stone.

Robert graduated from Strong Vincent High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Army. Robert would continue his education at Gannon College. He was a quiet man, who was an avid coin collector and philatelist. He called Florida home for over 40 years before returning to the Erie area. He loved country music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Melva Louise Stone and Ruth Ann Copello; and uncle and aunt, Donald and Mildred Stone.

Robert is survived by his sister, Mary Anderson; and two nephews, Richard and Daniel Anderson.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, 602 W 10^th St, Erie 16502 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
