Robert Ruscitto

Robert A. “Bob” Ruscitto age 60, of Erie, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on June 21, 1960, son Gene Ruscitto of Erie and the late Betty McMackin Ruscitto. 

Bob was a 1978 graduate of Tech Memorial High School. He worked in various roles in manufacturing most of his career. He was currently employed at Control Design, Inc., having previously worked at Hite Company, Assembly Machines, Inc., and Great Lakes Automation.

Bob enjoyed time with family and friends (especially with his favorite kids in the pool), raising a glass of “cockroach” to toast an occasion, hunting, his Italian heritage, and spending time with his beloved, Jackie.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barb Laneve.

In addition to his father, missing him will be his loving partner, Jackie Tupek; his sisters, Janet LaRocco (Mark) and Sandy Jordano (Mark); his brother, Mark Ruscitto (Barb); his brother in law, Art Laneve; nieces and nephew, Alicia Bennett, Meghan Ziegler, Rachael Ruscitto, Samantha, Alexa, and Gino Jordano; and many cousins. Also missing him dearly will be Anthony Tupek (Stacy); Mark Tupek (Nicole); Alivia, Adalynn, Aaron and Ashton Tupek; and his close neighborhood family.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26^th Street (at Powell Ave) on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00p.m. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed at: www.facebook.com/BurtonQuinnScott   All CDC guidelines will be followed, capacity limits, social distancing and masks are required.
