Juanita Helmuth

Juanita Helmuth, age 86, of Erie, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 7, 2021.

She was born in Erie on April 15, 1935, a daughter of the late Charles and Florence Runser Ebert.

Juanita was an avid gardener. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Helmuth, a son Daniel Helmuth, a son-in-law, Terry Smith and four siblings, Kathleen, Benny, Milford and Helen.

She is survived by a daughter, Terry A. (Lee Green) Smith, two sons, Michael (Rhonda) Helmuth and Timothy (Dottie) Helmuth, a daughter-in-law, April Helmuth, five grandchildren, Tracy and Tarra, Meckenzie and Heather, Faith and Jack and a special granddaughter, Brandy.  Several great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 1 p.m. until the time of service there at 3 p.m.  Pastor Nate McCollum of Hope Rising Free Methodist Church will officiate.

Burial will be private at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
