Joseph Helm, age 71, of Erie, passed away June 6, 2021 at UPMC Hamot Hospital.
Born in Erie, on October 22, 1949, the son of the late Mervin E. and Elizabeth Lesher Helm. Joseph was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1967. He was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, and now Luther Memorial.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Marie Helm.
He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Kroh (Jason), and Amy Kurtich (George), granddaughters, Alanna Marie Jerauld, and Karissa Rae Kurtich, and his significant other, Roberta Lobaugh.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie, Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon, with Ron King presiding. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
