John "Jack" Tufts - Condolences
DANIEL KELLEY
Several people have left an enduring mark on the Erie sports scene. Certainly, Jack Tufts is on that list of people. Having grown up with him, playing ball in our neighborhood as well as in high school, it is easy to recognize how his kindness and competitive spirit prepared him for helping and coaching youngsters. Jack, his parents and sister Sue were a friendly family at the center of many fond memories. Sincerely, Dan Kelley

Rest easy my friend. You touched more people than you may have known. Fortunate to be a friend.

Dear Susan & Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. Some of my fondest memories are playing little league baseball with Jack and my dad and your dad coaching our team. What a wonderful neighborhood and childhood we had. How I wish we could go back and do it all over again. Jack was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in peace Jack, Your friend Harry

Thank you Jack for supporting Erie Special Olympics. You made it possible for our athletes to be top in the state and have a sport for a lifetime. Few folks know we placed first at State Games in 2022 and went to USA games in Orlando Florida and won gold,Silver, and bronze medals. You and now Ryan are part of making that happen for our Athletes. The athletes stayed with golf cause you treated them so well and opened a door to love the game and you. Katy was part of being at JC Martin as we listened to stories of her growth through you. We are so sorry she lost you so young. We know mom will help her get through even with her own sorrow. God bless you all.
