Janice Allinger

January 25, 1947 — March 23, 2014

     Janice M. Mountain Allinger, 67, formerly of Erie, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at her home in Meadville.  She was born January 25, 1947 in Erie, daughter of the late William James Norcross and Catharine I. Frampton Mountain.
     She was a floor manager for Erie Molded Plastics for twenty years and was a bartender for American Legion Rodgers Israel Post No. 11, Erie, for many years.  Janice was a member of VFW Billy Simpson Post No. 470; was an avid bowler, bowling at Nova Aurora Club; and enjoyed fishing, camping, reading and playing pool and bocce.
     She was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Cole; a daughter, Judith Soper; two granddaughters, Crystal Cole and Stephanie Rodrigues; and a sister, Fay Bailey.
     Survivors include her husband, Claude Robert Allinger of Erie; three daughters, Catharine Cole and Christine Price both of Meadville, and Tamara Cole of San Francisco, CA; three sons, Raymond F. Cole of Erie, Steve C. Harris of Gresham, OR and Mark Cole of Phoenix, AZ; three sisters, Hazel Mountain and Delores Moore of Erie, and Mary Wilson and husband Gary of Edinboro, PA; two brothers, Jesse Mountain and wife Marian and Leroy Mountain, both of PA; ten grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
     Her "Celebration of Life" will be held at Aunt Judy Latshaw's (9720 Wattsburg Rd. Ere,Pa 16509) on Sunday, April 13th, from 3-6pm, some food will be served, if you wish to bring a dish it will be welcomed, (it is byob). Let us remember the good times today!
