Donna Struchen

Donna Struchen, age 75, of Girard, passed away Saturday February 25, 2023 after a brief illness.

She was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA on January 1, 1948, a daughter of the late Clyde E. Leonard Jr and Anne Ceidro Leonard.

Donna graduated from Southmoreland High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh Butler County Community College.  She was the proud owner of D & D Business and Notary Services as well as the Platea Borough tax collector for several years, served as secretary to Platea Borough Council and help with many fundraisers for improvements to the Platea School House.  Her joys were to cook, garden and watch the Steelers.  She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren were her greatest joy.

Donna will be deeply missed by her husband of 42 years, David Struchen; sons, Jon and Kim Hudak, James (Rich) and Laura Struchen; Daughter, Tammy and John Beers; grandchildren, Cortney Hudak, Cody Beers, Katelynn Howe, Emily Hudak, David (Garett) Struchen and one great granddaughter, Ember Howe. She is further survived by her siblings, Carole Ann Pagano (Leonard), Barry (Bud) Leonard, Keith (Skip) Leonard and Renee Moore (Leonard).

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home 525 Main Street E, Girard on Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 4:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm.
