David Allen

David Buell Allen, age 79, of Millcreek passed away Saturday February 1, 2014 at Golden Living Western Reserve.

He was born in Erie on May 18, 1934, son of the late Arthur Tyler and Janet Martin Allen.

David was a graduate of Academy High School class of 1953 and was a veteran of 8 years of service in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of T/Sgt. David worked at Harris Ford and Bianchi Lincoln Mercury until ill health forced him to retire in 1994.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Jean Allen; his brother and sister-in-law Arthur J. “Sam” and Jane Allen and his brother-in-law Earl Kindle.

Survivors include his sister Janet Kindle; a brother Richard H. Allen and his wife Mary and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home 2532 Norcross Road on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm with Fr. Michael DeMartinis officiating. Burial will be private.
