Christopher Wygant

Christopher J. Wygant, age 47, of Erie, passed away on Sunday February 13, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Erie on March 24, 1974, son of Richard and Mary Ellen Dalton Wygant of Erie.

He attended St. Luke School then graduated from Cathedral Preparatory School in 1992. He earned an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts from Mercyhurst College.
He worked for Troyer Farms, Waterford. He was a member of St. Luke Church. He was an avid sports fan and a lover of all things 80’s metal bands.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wygant, grandparents, Edward and Marie Dalton and Delma and Robert Wygant.

In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister, Linda Wygant Cabell, of Erie, PA, and two nieces, Meghan Cabell of Ewing, NJ and Sarah Cabell of Erie, PA.

Friends may call at St. Luke Church, 421 East 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504, on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 10 am until time of Celebration of Life Mass at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend John Malthaner officiating.

Arrangements entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road.

Inurnment will be in Mary Queen of Peace, Cemetery Mausoleum.
