Charmaine Kurylek

Charmaine J. Sonney Kurylek, age 93, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Mary’s Asbury Ridge.

She was born in Erie on February 16, 1928, the daughter of the late Alfred and Geraldine Hawley Sonney.

Charmaine graduated from Harborcreek High School.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker and later enjoyed being a nanny for almost 20 years.

Charmaine loved baking and was known for her pies; and had a talent for designing and decorating several of her homes.

She was a loving and giving person to family and friends, but especially to her daughters.

She was a member of First Missionary Alliance Church;

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Kurylek and her half brother, Robert Tome.

Charmaine is survived by her daughters, Sheila Kurylek of Girard and Jan Jeffrey of Erie.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott at West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th St., on Tuesday from 1 pm until the time of the service at 2pm.

Burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
