Betty Adams

Betty English Adams age 85, of Millcreek passed away Saturday December 9, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in LakeCity on August 17^th, 1932, the daughter of the late Miner L. and Ida Adams English.

Betty graduated from LakeCityGrade School and RiceAvenueUnionHigh School.  She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church.  Betty enjoyed camping, painting ceramics and was an avid reader. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Eli, and a daughter-in-law Cindy Adams. She was also preceded by her sisters, Mary Borsukoff, Margaret Guy, Dorothy Terry and Mira Robson and her brothers, Miner English, Ralph English and Theodore English. 

She is survived by her daughter Terri L. Lintelman and husband Thomas; her sons Stephen J. Adams and Robert Adams and wife Nancy all of Erie; her grandchildren Thomas Lintelman, Jessica Francis, Heather Szymczak, and Andrea Herman and husband Jeremy all of Erie and five great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Judy Miller and husband Dave of S. Carolina and her lifelong best friend Betty Scalise and husband Frank of East Springfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26^th Street (at Powell Avenue) on Tuesday December 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm and are invited to a Prayer Service there on Wednesday at 9:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church at 10:30 am  with  Rev. Richard J. Toohey officiating.

Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
