Annette Watson

Annette P. (Beveridge) Watson, age 85, of Erie passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. She was born July 10, 1935 in Bellefonte, PA the daughter of the late William S. Beveridge and Margaret (Confer) Beveridge Groenendaal.

A longtime resident of Erie, Annette had worked from 1997 until her retirement in 2014 in the offices of Kmart at East Grandview Blvd. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and loved the times spent with her family and friends. Family gatherings at holidays and birthdays were very special to her. She also enjoyed her nightly game of Pinochle.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Watson; her three brothers, Bill, Jim, and Robert Beveridge and two sisters; Mary Berry and Myrna Brain. She was also preceded by her sister-in-law, Jean Bloxdorf and two brothers-in-law, Paul and Harry (Mike) Watson.

Annette is survived by her children, William R. Watson, Alfred M. Watson, and Diane Tatalone (Jim) all of Erie and Mary Good (Tim) of Wattsburg, PA. She is the grandmother of Anthony and Emily Watson, James (Julie) Tatalone, Amy Tatalone (Eric), Katie (Ryan) Graeca and Trina (Desmond F.) Drake. Also surviving are 5 great-grandchildren, Mia, Caden, Emmy, Gianna and Conor, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:30 PM at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 2801 W.6th St. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie City Mission, 1017 French Street, PO Box 407, Erie PA 16512-0407.
