Andrew Johnson

Andrew Charles Johnson III, age 75, of Erie, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022. He was born in Collins, Mississippi, April 24, 1947 to the late Daniel and Eddie Johnson. Andrew graduated from Sandusky High school before joining the United States Army and serving in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his children, Mitchell T. Johnson, Michelle Tate, Andrew C. Johnson IV, and Andrew Stevens Johnson; by his step children, Eric and Drake Davidson. Andrew is further survived by his siblings, Florean Johnson, Jerdean Johnson, Cass Johnson, and Brenda Barnes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Bertha Henley, Daniel Johnson Jr. Jerry Johnson, Twila Johnson, and a grandson Tyrique Tate. Andrew is preceded in death by his step mother, Louise Johnson, and a step sister, Joyce Arrington.
