Nathan M. Gillies

Nathan Mark Gillies, age 52, of Millcreek, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on October 18, 1973, a son of Chuck and Janet Gillies of Millcreek.

Nathan graduated from McDowell High School and VO Tech in 1993 where he studied art. He also attended Joe Kupert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in New Jersey.

He was a very talented artist and played the bass guitar in a few bands. Nathan liked gardening and loved BMX Bike Racing and raced locally at Lake Shore BMX until last year. Nathan was a very funny and kind person who will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his sister, Emily Gillies Dorsey.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter, Phaedra Gillies and a brother, Joshua (Darlene) Gillies. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc, Wintergreen 2532 Norcross Rd, Erie on Tuesday, December 2nd from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses and would be greatly appreciated.
