Mildred Leona "Lee" Cook

Mildred Leona “Lee” Cook, age 85 of Millcreek Township, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026.

Lee was a graduate of Harborcreek High School. She worked as a Cafeteria Lady for McDowell High School for many years. She then was a nanny for the Washek family for over 20 years. Lee enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Lee is survived by her husband of 67 years, Raymond A. Cook; daughter Carrie Cook; and sister Twila Bash. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Florence Bash and infant daughters Jo Ellen Cook and Jo Ann Cook.

Per Lee’s wishes, no public service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater PA Chapter (Alzheimer's Association /pa) or UPMC Hospice, 201 State St., Erie, PA.
