Midge Gorski

Midge Gorski age 89 Formerly of Girard and Erie, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at her residence in Titusville.

She was born in Erie on November 15, 1936, a daughter of John and Stella Sullen Beck.

She graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1955 and had worked as a Nurse’s Aide for many years in Erie. Midge enjoyed bowling and playing cards, but her biggest love was raising and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John F. Gorski; three sons: Norman Griffin, William Hodges and Nickolas Griffin.

She is survived by six children: Kathy Lybrook and her husband Rev. Ed of KY; Patrice Stafford and her husband Joel; Bryan Hodges and Bobbie; John Mezzacapo and Jo; Carmen Mezzacapo and Debbie; and Phillip Mezzacapo all of Erie; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a favorite niece Joannie Baldini and her husband Joseph of Erie.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St East, Girard on Saturday March 21, 2026 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm, with her son-in-law Rev. Edward Lybrook officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
