Michael R. Teel

Michael R. Teel, age 27, died suddenly Wednesday September 23, 2026, at UPMC Hamot from natural causes. He was born September 13, 1999, in Erie the son of Douglas and Erin (McMahon) Teel, Jr.

Michael was a graduate of McDowell High School and was a manager at Art’s Bakery. He enjoyed video games, anime, and loved fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Marcia McMahon; paternal grandparents, Douglas and Penny Teel; his siblings, William Teel (Kenzie), Jarod Teel (Tayne), Sean Teel (Taylor) and Logan Teel.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services Inc, West Ridge, 3801 W.26th St. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erie Shriner’s Children Hospital, 1645 W.8th St., Erie, PA 16505 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
