Michael Boykin

Michael Boykin, 62, of Erie, passed away September 8th, 2026.

He was born January 30th, 1964, in Erie, a son to the late Allie D. and Clara B. (Emerson) Boykin.

Michael graduated from East High School, class of 1982. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force for various years until his honorable discharge. He enjoyed everything cars, especially fixing various audio systems. He had a special interest in Martial Arts; he studied the skill in Korea while he was in the Military. Most of all, he loved billiards, music, poetry, making people laugh and comedy, kids, Hi-C and brownies.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his eldest brother, Roman Wayne Boykin.

In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his children, Chauncey, Tiffany, Sean, and Josiah; stepson, Deo; four sisters, Carlene, Clarice, Alice, and Amy; a brother, Cashawn; 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
