Melody A. Wagner

Melody A. Wagner “Momma”, age 65, of Erie, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025, at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Devens, MA on August 3, 1959, a daughter of the late Catherine, and Major James L. Drinkwater.

Melody loved to decorate the house for every holiday, and loved spending time with family. She had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor even in adversity.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard, by her children, Jacquelin Williams (Greg) of Irwin, PA, Nachelle McGuigan (John), of North East, PA, Cody Wagner, Robert Wagner, and Bryce Wagner, all of Erie. Melody is further survived by her grandchildren, Jaida Rogers, Raygn Wagner, Kayla Williams, Brayden Williams, Issac, John, Jacob, Ella, Lincoln, Stephanie, Abraham, and Benjamin McGuigan. She is survived by her siblings, Marie Conrow of Rio Rancho, NM, Debbie Hanrahan (Mike) of Rio Rancho, NM, Dawn Holling (Junior) of Los Lunas, NM, William Drinkwater of Albuquerque, NM, and a sister-in-law Dora Drinkwater, of Los Lunas, NM.

In addition to her parents, Melody is preceded in death by her son Richard, her brothers Dennis and James Drinkwater, and her brother-in-law Bruce Conrow.
