Mary Jo Wisniewski

Mary Jo Wisniewski age 56 of Erie, passed away and went to her Heavenly home with the Lord on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at her residence.

She was born in Erie on February 1, 1967 a daughter of the late Coy and Dolores LeBron Gross.

Mary Jo worked at St. Mary's nursing home a job she loved. She also worked during the time her daughter was at Sacred Heart school as a helper in the lunchroom.

She enjoyed bowling and spending time outdoors fishing. As well as reading and playing cards with her family. She loved animals too.

In addition to her parents, step-father, Ralph Barzano, she was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents Michael, Nathan, Josephine, and Martha.

She is survived by her beloved daughter Megan Wisniewski and her beloved granddaughter Octavia. Also, her sister Joann Rastatter and Kirk, her brother David Gross, aunts Gloria Copple and Mary Ann Parker, uncles Michael and Tony LeBron as well as many cousins. Also she is survived by her partner of many years Pablo Ortiz and many cherished friends especially her childhood friend Karen Sullivan.

Private services for Mary Jo will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th , Erie, PA 16506.
