Mary Corbin

A special woman to so many has left this world to go to another. Mary Corbin passed away on October 29, 2026 at the age of 81.

She was born in Erie on May 22, 1945 to the late Angelo and Eleanor (Mikolajewski) Picheco. She grew up on the east side attending St. Casimir’s, St. Ben's then graduating from East High School.

Mary went on to marry the late Jon Corbin Sr. and have 3 children, choosing to stay at home with them then finding a job she was very proud of at Erie Insurance in Accts Recievable.

Over the years, Mary had many interests and talents. Crocheting, quilting, and sewing. Bowling, tennis, and bike riding. Listening to music by Neil Diamond, ABBA, and the Bee Gees. Reading, reading, and more reading. Traveling to Cape Cod, Nantucket and Shenandoah but her favorite place was her home where she loved to decorate with thrifted items.

Mary is survived by her children, Tracy Dobmeier (Brian), Jon Corbin Jr. (Shon), Ryan Corbin (Kelly), her grandchildren Ava and Sara Dobmeier, Olivia and Ellie Corbin, her sister Dorothi "Dot" Blout (Larry), her brother Angelo "Chico" Picheco (Judy), her nieces and nephews Dean, Lori, Mike, Angela, Darcie, Becky, Shari, Jen, and Jeff.

Mary is at peace and free of cancer and dementia. Her body is gone, but her soul will live on in the hearts of her family.

The family would like to thank UPMC Family Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they showed Mary.

There will be a viewing for Mary at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, 602 W. 10th St., on Friday, November 6th from 2 PM till 6 PM with a short service to follow.
