Mary Ann Snyder

Mary Ann Elizabeth Bolmanski Snyder, age 78, lost her battle with lung cancer on September 12, 2025.

She was born on January 27, 1947, in Erie, to the late Boleslaus and Valentine (Kazmierczak) Bolmanski.

Mary Ann was a woman with a caring heart that worked in home health care for many years. She never met an animal she didn’t love and took care of the many stray neighborhood cats. She enjoyed reading, going to Presque Isle, bowling, bingo, attending family gatherings and being with her beloved cat, “Bugs”. Her love, laughter and presence will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by two sisters, Joan Luke and Patty Woll; two daughters, Denise Raines and Kimberly Walters (John); a son, Douglas Snyder; granddaughters, Vanessa Miller, Debra Walters (Matt) and Amanda Walters; grandsons, Brandon Raines, Michael Raines, Nicholas Walters and Tyler Walters; nine great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Mary Ann is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her daughter, Marsha Snyder.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
