Martha Rose Pierce

Martha Rose Pierce, age 83, of Fairview, passed away on Sunday August 27, 2023 at Pleasant Ridge Manor. 

She was born in Greene County PA on February 16, 1940, a daughter of the late John and Rose Hnat Soukup. 

She graduated from Masontown High School and was employed by the US Postal Service.  She enjoyed gardening and her plants.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her first-born son William Pierce in 2005. 

She is survived by her sons; Michael J. Pierce and David (Heidi) Pierce, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, all services were private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home 525 Main St East, Girard PA.
