Martha Elinore Elaine Kocher

Martha Elinore Elaine Kocher, age 74, of Lake City, passed away peacefully Monday July 24, 2023.  Martha was a strong and caring woman who faced a challenging illness with grace and humor, she taught her family a lot and will be missed by many.

Martha was born July 29, 1948 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Eleanore (Meucci) Kocher.

Martha was a member of the job core and a United States Air Force Veteran. She was baptized as one of the Jehovah’s Witness on October 23, 2016.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Mook; and a brother, Larry Kocher.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Andrea Arkley, son in law John Arkley; 4 grandchildren, Joseph Barnes, Nathan Barnes, Arianna (Charlie) Chase, and Noah Arkley; two sisters, Goldie Kocher and Sandie (Punky) Kocher; a brother, Tim Kocher; 3 nieces and a nephew, Valerie Kocher, April Kocher, Holly Kocher, and Evan Kocher.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall, 7200 Meadville Rd Girard PA 16417 on August 12, 2023 at 2 pm, there will be a get together following the service details to be announced.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. E., Girard, PA 16417.
