Mark W. Weisman

Mark W. Weisman, age 66, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at UPMC Hamot Hospital.

He was born on October 1, 1959, in Erie, to the late Robert W. and Betty J. (Harmon) Weisman.

Mark was in the first graduating class of Twin Tech in 1977 where he studied commercial art. He was a devoted aficionado of World War II history and member of the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo, New York where he attended numerous air shows.

In addition to his historical interests, Mark was known for his cooking. Every Thanksgiving, he made dinner for his family.

Mark was also a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers, James E. Weisman and Robert F. Weisman.

Mark leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his sister, Dolores "Dee" Anderson and nieces and nephews: Matthew E. Anderson (Robin), Mary Beth Wisniewski (Ben), Kenneth R. Anderson (Jenna), Kristine L. Moore, Michelle N. McGill (Clint) and Katlyn E. Anderson (Jeff). He is further survived by 11 great nieces and nephews and his best friend, Steve Baker.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Twinbrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center as well as UPMC Hamot Hospital for their compassionate care.
