Marjorie J. Pangborn, age 92, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on February 1, 1934, in Kellitsville, PA, she was the only child of the late Raymond P. and Margaret Gilloly Churcher.
She graduated from Millcreek High School. Marjorie worked for many years at Westminster Manufacturing but found her true joy as a clerk at Big Lots, where her warm smile and caring nature touched many.
Her greatest passion was her large family. She created a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever be nurtured by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Through the years, the family enjoyed many camping trips, with fond memories of their time spent at Alfred’s, Red Oak, and Broken Straw Campgrounds, bringing them together in a spirit of adventure and bonding. Marjorie was simply the best, always there to care for and love her family unconditionally.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd; her daughter, Linda Schell, son-in-law James Schell; grandson, Nathan Pangborn; and great-grandson, Michael Lichtenberger Stein.
She is survived by six loving children: Ray, Mike (Bev), Karen (Carl) Adams, Buzz, Tom (Gail), and Jim (Dena). Marjorie's legacy also lives on through her grandchildren: Ryan (Heather), Kyle, Stacie Stein, Paul (Sarah) Schell, Pam Schell, Steph (Luis) Hernandez, Ian (Jess) Adams, Brandi (Tammie) Pangborn, and Danielle (Ryan) Nolan; great-grandchildren: Addison, Alexis, Kayla, Damien, Anthony, Aidan, Emma, Mateo, Nora, Max, Allie, Vance, Rylie, and Ryan; and great great grandchildren: Mattie, Asher, Owen, Marley, Anthony Jr.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge.
