Marilyn White

Marilyn White, age 79, passed away on Monday May 27, 2024, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

She was born in Erie, PA on August 30, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Edra Bartlett Boyd. 

She was a graduate of General McLane High School. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Sam Swagerty; her brother, John Boyd and her half siblings, Douglas Dougerty, Harry Dougerty, Louis Dougerty and June Wise; and her brother-in-laws, David Williams and Butch O’Baker.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bob) Lawson, Tammy (Sarge) Manfield, Edra Bronk and James Swagerty; her siblings, James Boyd, Charles (Pat) Boyd, Marge (Dave) Rupp, Dick Boyd, Nancy Boyd, Sam (Cheryl) Boyd, Jean Williams and Shirley O’Baker; her grandchildren, Teela Lawson, Kayla Lawson, Peppermint Ploss, Tommy Tucker, Lihith Swagerty, Samuel Swagerty, Trinity Myers, Isadora Johnson, Puck Swagerty, Vera Swagerty, Mark (Jackie) Peckelnicky, and Amanda Temple; great grandchildren, Xathan Swagerty and many others; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday at 11:30am at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard.
