Marika Marie Roberts

Marika Marie Roberts, age 39, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 12, 2026.

Marika was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished daughter. Above all else, she was most passionate about living her life as a wife and mother, finding her greatest joy in caring for and loving her family. Her warmth, dedication, and selfless spirit were evident in every part of her life, and she poured her heart and soul into creating a home filled with love.

Marika was a 2005 graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State Behrend, followed by a Master of Arts in Psychology and Community Counseling from Edinboro University. Her education reflected who she was at her core—someone who deeply cared about others and was devoted to helping people through compassion and understanding.

She is survived by her loving partner and husband, Jonathan Roberts; her cherished children, Benjamin and Lillian Roberts; and her parents, Barbara (Bobbi) and Jack Thomas. Marika also leaves behind an extended family who loved her dearly and a beloved family by choice, Sharie, Travis, and Shane Moore and “dad,” David Boyce. Marika was also blessed to be surrounded by a treasured circle of friends who enriched her life immeasurably and whose significance cannot be captured in words.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ed and Sally Dombrowski; her sister, Kayla Sansone; her brother-in-law, Timothy Roberts; and her aunt, Stephanie Hinkler.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made in honor of the two souls Marika loved the most. Contributions may be made toward the college funds for Benjamin and Lillian Roberts, ensuring her greatest legacy—her children—continues to be supported and cherished.

Marika will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her love, devotion, and legacy will live on through her children and the many lives she touched.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA on Saturday January 17, 2026 from 10 am until the time of service at 1 pm. Private inurnment at a later date in St. Matthias Cemetery, Clymer, NY.
