Margaret Costanzo, of Bradford, PA, passed away October 1st, 2026 at the age of 97.
She was born in Olean, NY on December 27th, 1928, to her parents William and Myrtle (Freson) Morrison.
After graduating from Otto Eldred High School in 1947, Margaret went to work as an inventory clerk for the Dresser Manufacturing Division of Bradford, PA and married her husband of many years Joseph Costanzo, who she married September 19th, 1960 in St. Bernard Church, Bradford, PA.
She enjoyed laughing with family and friends, bowling, golf, badminton, music and poring over family photographs. She was a devout Roman Catholic and loved volunteering at the Bradford Hospital, Bradford Central Christian High School and with the American Cancer Society.
Beyond all other things, Margaret was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life. She loved living in Belgium and traveling through Europe with her family, relishing many mementos of these experiences and sharing stories of these adventures with her beloved grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Joseph; daughters Tamara Barrus (Tyler Barrus) of St. Augustine, FL, and Dr. Kathleen Costanzo of Fairview, PA; son Joseph Costanzo (Christopher Beaton) of Geneva, Switzerland; grandchildren Jordan Barrus, Sydney Barrus and Peyton Flanagan (Shawn Flanagan); her niece Carol Minard and family; sister-in-law, Theresa Bucci and family; aunt, Louise Stoltz and family; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Father Gallina conducted a private service at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St. Erie, PA.
Memorials may be made to the Smithsonian Institute, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, The American Cancer Society and St. Bernard Church (Bradford, PA).
