Loretta Paolello

Loretta D. Paolello, age 71 of Erie, died Tuesday October 25, 2016 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Ridgway, PA on April 6, 1945 a daughter of the late James Edward and Loretta Mary Bartberger Pike.

Loretta graduated from Elk County Christian School, Class of 1962.

She was an entrepreneur, and was a wedding planner at the Gothic Gallery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pietro J. Paolello, Jr., four siblings Frank Pike, Harriett Eozzo, James Pike and Yvonne Tusing.

Survivors include six children, Pietro Paolello, III of Woburn, MA, Melissa Paolello-Skindell (Garrett) of Erie, Krissy Bonghi (Tony) of Charlotte, NC, James Paolello (Sara) of Erie, Jessie Paolello (Matthew Jesson) of Arlington, WA, and Josephine Yucha (Trevor), Maui, HI; nine grandchildren: Nyssa Benninger, Giovanna Skindell, Lolacenza Skindell, Vitalia Skindell, Gaetanno Skindell, Max Bonghi, Maya Bonghi, Calvino Paolello and Sebastino Yucha.

Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street. Services will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to the A.N.N.A. Shelter, 1555 East 10th St. Erie PA 16511.
