Lois Irene McGee Fitzgerald

Lois Irene McGee Fitzgerald, age 89, of Erie, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born in Indiana County Center Twp. On September 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Paul B. and Dorothy Bell Dunmire McGee.

Lois worked for the Keystone Blind Association and enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her children, grandchildren and dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ray Fitzgerald Sr., sons, Ronald Fitzgerald Jr. and Gerald Pepper; her daughter Ronda Neiswonger and sister-in-law Doris Fitzgerald.

Lois is survived by her daughter Dorothy Stiffer, daughter in law Kathleen Kuffer, son in law, William Vittorio; grandchildren, Jeremy Kuffer, Nicholas Fitzgerald, with whom she resided, Jessica Wachewick (Brian) and Jammie McCarron (Ryan). She is further survived by her brothers Paul McGee Jr. and Theodore McGee, brother-in-law Bob Leamer and sister-in-law Janet Lenhardt (Ray).

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St. on Friday, October 10th from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Spring Cemetery, Springboro, PA.
