Leonard M. Wicker

Leonard M. “Leo” Wicker age 62, of Fairview, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at UPMC Hamot after a courageous battle with ALS. 

He was born in Erie on November 28, 1961, a son of Leonard Wicker and the late Marian Krauchen Wedzik. 

Leo recently retired from The Electric Material Company after many years of service. 

He enjoyed spending time with his friends, golfing, camping, sitting around a fire and was an avid Raiders fan. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his dogs, Gizmo, Nikki and Dolcé. 

He is survived by his forever loves, his wife of 24 years, Laura Walter Wicker; his daughter, Leah Wicker; his best bud, his dog, Joey; his loving family, his father Leonard Wicker; his sisters, Laurie Rogers, Lynne Wicker and Lydia D’Albora and her husband Thomas; sister-in-law, Sheryl Wallesverd; and many nieces, nephews and special friends. 

The family would like to thank the ICU nurses at UPMC Hamot for their compassion and outstanding care.
