Koreena Nikole Hemstreet age 32, of Millcreek passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at St. Vincent Allegheny Health Network.
She was born in Erie on June 21, 1990 a daughter of Ted Hemstreet and Nicole Robertson Phillips.
Koreena graduated from Erie First Christian Academy.
She worked as a bartender at Coconut Joes, Big Bar and most recently Chico’s Tavern.
Koreena was filled with so much passion and grace. Her light would radiate through her beautiful soul and kind heart even on the hardest days. She offered an infinite amount of compassion to everyone. Koreena was brave, supportive, generous, loving, a mother, daughter, a sister, a friend, and everything in between. We remember her by her amazing voice, her gorgeous smile, remarkable personality and how she blessed the world with a love that spreads like wildfire.
She is survived by her parents, Ted Hemstreet (Stacey) and Nicole Phillips (Danny); a daughter and her whole world, Areyah Soleil; her siblings, LeAnnah Schwab (Gage) and Charlie Gorney; stepsiblings, Kate Rhoades, Allen Rhoades, Dustin Phillips and Jake Wagner; her grandparents, Bill and Marilyn Robertson, Alan and Elaine Hemstreet and Judy and Burt Smith; her partner, Jonathan Lawson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. and are invited to a service there on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
