Kimberly Lynn (Carrier) Lowe, 60, of Erie, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday, December 18th, 2023.
Kimberly was born in Erie on November 28, 1963, daughter of the late William “Ike” Carrier and Dolores Alva Keth.
She resided in Erie, PA for the past 15 years. Prior to that, she resided in Ligonier, PA and Wheeling, WV.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 13 years, Von Clyde Lowe, of Scottdale, PA.
Kimberly is survived by three children, Ashley Laurren (Brett) Parr, of Louisville, KY, Cameron Lee Lowe, of Pittsburgh, and Courtney Lynn Lowe (Alex Masi, fiancé, deceased), of Erie. She was the grandmother of Kaden Von and Lilian Grace. She is also survived by six siblings, Carla Dawn Carrier, of Erie, Mark Allan Carrier, of Bellingham, WA, Terry Leigh (Chris) Blood, of East Springfield, William Ivan Carrier Jr., of Chehalis, WA, Dolores Michele Carrier, of Erie and James Robert (Tina) Carrier, of Brookville and had many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Kimberly was a graduate of Northwestern High School and attended Erie Business College. She met her husband Von, a pilot, while working as an aviation consultant at Erie International Airport. She was a devoted homemaker and an excellent cook. She enjoyed watching her kids ice skate, play tennis, and enjoy their property in Ligonier. She loved traveling, reading, visiting the ocean, and spending time with her family and pets.
Cremation rites were accorded by Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16502. Her family is honoring Kimberly’s wish that there be no formal funeral service; a private celebration of Kimberly’s life will be held following the Christmas holiday.
