Kenneth N. Kraus

Kenneth N. Kraus, age 76 of Erie passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was born in Erie on November 24, 1949 to the late Norman S. and Shirley H. Little Kraus.

A lifelong Erie resident, he was a graduate of Technical Memorial High School and Gannon University and had been employed as a Project Engineer at National Forge.

Ken was a member of the Zukor Club, Siebenbuerger Club and St. John’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing softball and basketball in Millcreek and City Rec Leagues; handball at the downtown YMCA; but most of all he enjoyed time spent with family. Everyone enjoyed receiving his handmade HARA MARK cards.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother Keith.

He’s survived by his brother, James Kraus of Erie; nephew, Jason Kraus (Chelsea) of Annville, PA; and nieces, Kelly Kraus-Thornton (Tony) and Erin Verno (Nick), both of Erie; He’s further survived by his great nephews and nieces, Antonio (Yarinel), Gemma, Ashton, Janelle, Gavin, Jackson, Olivia, Alejandro and Angel.

As per Kenny’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. All are invited to A Celebration of Life Luncheon on Saturday, October 10 at 3:00 PM at the Siebenbuerger Club, 2114 French St.
