Kathy Buetikofer

Kathy Ann Buetikofer age 57, of Erie, died peacefully at St. Vincent Medical Center on Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was born in Erie, Pa. on August 22, 1956, a daughter of Carl Buetikofer and the late Irene Pearl Roberts. She was a 1974 graduate of McDowell High School and also graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at both St. Vincent Health Center and Hamot Hospital. Previous to her nursing career she served in the US Army and owned her own business Kathy’s Custom Draperies. She was preceded in death by infant sister Susan and her brother John. Kathy is survived by a son, Eric Buetikofer and his wife Jessica of Bowling Green, OH her sister Robin and Melanie, brothers Luke and Mark. She also leaves her dear friend John Derosa. Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa. 16502 on Saturday from 3:00 pm till the time of service there at 6:00 pm with Pastor Rick Crocker officiating. Inurnment will take place in Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL at a later time. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
