Kathleen White

Kathleen L. White, age 63, of Erie, passed away February 23, 2016 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie, PA on March 24, 1952, daughter of the late Catherine Shuhart Hankanen and Eino Hankanen. She was a 1970 graduate of Strong Vincent High School.

She worked as an assembler for ERISCO Industries for 33 years, where she retired in 2007.

Kathleen loved Tinkerbell, animals and was always a helper as an animal advocate. She was a volunteer at the Second Harvest Food Bank.

She is survived by two daughters, Melissa White, of Tonawanda, NY and Katrina Roeder, of CA; a sister, Jean Sprake, of Erie, PA; a niece, Lisa Wicker (Jim), of Erie, PA and a nephew, Ryan Sprake (Monica), of Pittsburgh, PA.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., at 602 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
