Katherine E. "Kathie" Hall

Katherine E. “Kathie” Ware Hall, age 75 passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Erie on November 24, 1950 to the late Ernest and Mary Jane Milliman Ware.

Kathie graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1968. She worked as an office manager for Agresti Law Firm; in the kitchen at Saint Vincent Hospital and for over 15 years as an intake coordinator for the PA State Department, retiring in 2015. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed working in her flower garden.

Kathie is survived by her husband of 52 years, John N. Hall of Erie; her daughter, Kristen L. Bires of Erie and son, Andrew J. Hall (Angelina) of Erie; grandchildren, Claire Bires of Erie, Brooklynn Hall and Braiden Hall both of Blackfoot, ID and her brother, Eugene Ware (Nancy) of Erie. She’s further survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
