Karen Jeanne Ivan (Tregler)

Karen Jeanne Ivan (Tregler), 79, of Erie, passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 26, 2026, at UPMC Hamot.

She was born April 28, 1947, in Erie, a daughter of the late Michael and Hazel Zerbe Ivan.

Karen attended St. George’s school and graduated from St. Benedict’s Academy, class of 1965. She retired from her favorite job at Tregler’s Gallery after 30 years. Karen and her partner, Carl traveled coast to coast together, visiting many antique stores and flea markets. She was an avid vintage doll collector and enjoyed reading.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Christine (Ivan) Boling.

Karen is survived by her loving partner of numerous years, Carl Tregler; a brother, David Ivan; stepson, Jeff Tregler and his daughter, Kali Tregler; stepson, Michael Tregler and his daughter, Candace Tregler; great grandson, Zion Hobbs; as well as, a grandson, Cody Tregler. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
