Kammy Kay Chase, age 61, passed on Monday, September 2, 2024, at UPMC Hamot Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on October 12, 1962, in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Kammy enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, especially having them all in one place. She looked forward to cheering on her grandkids in their dance performances and football games …. She was their #1 fan! Kammy loved spending time with her bird, Stewie, and teaching him new things. Her favorite color was purple and she looked forward to playing cards, going to bingo with her daughters and cookouts with her sons. She especially enjoyed summers and spending time at the beach with her husband. Kammy was a die-hard 49'ers fan and looked forward to football season.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Ke'Vonte Roye; in-laws, Harold and Betty Chase and her late husband of 23 years, Victor S. Chase.
Kammy leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her fiancé, Timothy Fedak; children, Victor Chase, Heather Bassham (Michaeljohn), Genny Chase and Brandon Rea; 17 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is further survived by a bonus son, Tom Goodwin and two close friends, Brenda and Rocky.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
