June Zygai

June R. Zygai, age 74, of Girard, went home to be with the Lord after a long battle with breast cancer on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. She was born in Erie on August 4, 1951, a daughter of the late Wilson and June Mead Webber.

She attended Northwestern and Girard High Schools and was proud of obtaining her GED and later getting her driver’s license at age 36. She was a dedicated worker in quality control for Brook Park Plastics, RM Kerner and Engineered Plastics until her retirement.

June was a long-time member of Albion Assembly of God. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching movies, reading books and gardening. She was a determined and hard-working woman who overcame many battles in her life. She was especially proud of her family, showing pictures of them to all her friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond; daughter, Cynthia Barker; grandson, Joshua Chase; and brothers, Robert VanGastle, Walter and Andrew Webber; and a sister, Mabel Jakobic.

June is survived by her children; Brenda Mosko (Dave), Sherry Farbo (Bennie), David Marrale (Jenn) and son-in-law Benjamin Barker; her grandchildren, Justin Boring, Alyssa Rouse (Jason), Randi Eckard (Dustin), Maranda Chase, Brandon Boring (Stacy), Ashlee Heinemann, Caitlin Kent, Doug Hines, Karli Mosko-Mayers (Nathaniel), David Mosko Jr., Dylan Barker, Jadyn Barker, and Ryan Crilley; and numerous great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings; Wilson Webber (Rose), Georgia Delo, Edward Webber, and Debbie Williamson; many nieces and nephews and her long-time friend Becky Rhoades.

Private burial at Girard Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, Girard, PA.
