Judy H. Yeager, 82, of Tidioute, passed away peacefully at the home of Shauna and Kerk Yeager September 7, 2026, surrounded by family. Judy was born in Oil City (President) and then moved to Erie. Her summers would be spent with family in President and or Tidioute and this is where she would always come back to and finally settling at the family homestead in Tidioute with Kerk and Shawn in the 90’s.
She was born February 28, 1944, in Oil City, PA, a daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Hazel R. (Tipton) Fox. She graduated from McDowell High School in Erie PA.
Judy was a housekeeper and clerk at various businesses in Erie. She really just preferred to be a grandmother and or mother to anyone. She loved being a caretaker of her mother, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and fur babies.
She enjoyed traveling to Florida and New Mexico to see a special friend, as well as many crafts. She created many artworks over the span of her life including, cake decorating, jewelry making and painting and most recently diamond art. She often said that there wasn’t a craft she hadn’t dabbled in.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Yeager, and a brother, Robert Fox.
Judy is survived by three sons, Jerry Yeager (Karen) of Tidioute, Scott Yeager and his wife Stephanie, of Erie, Kerk Yeager and his wife Shauna of Tidioute a sister, Lori Findlay and her husband Greg, of Erie; as well as her grandchildren; Danielle, Natasha, Jessica, Jeremiah, Ariel, Kyle, Kayla, Jordan. Michael, Tiera and fur babies. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Roxanne (Josh), Aaron, (Eliza), Trisha, Stephen (Luxmi), David along with great nieces and nephews, great grandchildren and cousins.
