Judy R. Masterson

Judy R. Masterson, age 82, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Erie, on February 5, 1943, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Irene Sokolowski Bogdanski.

Judy was employed at Lovell Place in Sterling Square and Steris for 21 years, retiring in 2002. She graduated from East High School and attended classes at Gannon University. She was a member and attendant at Mount Calvary Church and volunteered for 3 years at the Regional Cancer Center and 2 years at the Blasco Library. She was very close to her grandchildren and enjoyed every minute with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon Michael Masterson.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy J. Masterson (Dawn) and David M. Masterson (Gloria); her daughter, Colleen Marie Olson (Richard); and seven grandchildren, Bethanie, Davina, Amanda and Emma Masterson and Nicholas, Noah and Nash Olson. Judy is further survived by her brother, Michael R. Bogdanski; her sister, Pamela Podbielski and her previous husband, Timothy J. Masterson, who she remained close with.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 4 pm until the time of service at 6 pm with Rev. Msgr. Daniel Magraw officiating.
