Judith June Alexander Dundon, 80, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 at UPMC Hamot after a short illness. She was born May 6, 1944 to the late Ralph Alexander and June (Wygant) Alexander.
She graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1962 and attended Gannon University. She worked for the Erie County Library System for more than 20 years in the technical services department. She loved books and was never without a stack at the ready. She also loved music and played the piano and flute. She was a member of the Gannon Flute Choir for many years performing throughout the area. She greatly enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching, traveling and visiting with her children, grandchildren and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 51 years, Douglas Dundon, in 2016.
She is survived by her five children: Shawn (Diane) Dundon of Baltimore; Jill Dundon, Joy (Christopher) Carroll of Pittsburgh, Jeremy (Jennifer) Dundon of Cocoa Beach, FL, and Aaron Dundon of Erie. She is also lovingly remembered by her six grandchildren: Rachel, Morgan, Ryan, Cody, JD, and Sophia. In addition, she is survived by three siblings: Scott Alexander, Marcia Lewis, Lori Sue Bouchard as well as three nephews.
Private services were held by the family through Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc., 602 West 10th Street, Erie, PA.
