Joshua Chessario

Joshua ‘Joose’ Chessario, age 28, passed on to the next big adventure July 13, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained in an accident.  Josh was the loving son of Jim and Lauri Chessario, and the beloved brother of Alissa Chessario (Fiancé Matt Conway).  

Josh was loving, caring, generous, artistic, intelligent, musical, adventurous and a friend to many.  He loved creating and performing music, camping, and the outdoors, especially the Erie waterfront and Wintergreen Gorge.  He enjoyed attending music festivals, hanging out with friends, skateboarding, playing retro video games and backyard fires.  He was a master at solving puzzles and tinkering with electronics.  He built his own computer.  

Josh was a proud graduate of Penn State Behrend with a degree in Computer Engineering.  He was a Controls Simulation Engineer at Wabtec, working on the FLX locomotive project.  

Besides his parents and sister, Josh has many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and the family dog, Tucker, to love, cherish and remember his wonderful spirit and loving heart always.  

Rest in peace, Josh.  Your beautiful soul made an impact in this world and you will be forever missed and loved.

Please join us in honoring Josh’s life at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th Street on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place on Monday, July 18, 2022 in the cremation garden at Laurel Hill Cemetery 4523 Love Rd. Erie, PA 16506 at 1:00 p.m.
