John J. Weisenbach, age 85, passed away, Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at Twinbrook Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Erie, on July 24th, 1939, the son of the late Elmer J. and Zora Schwartz Weisenbach.
John graduated from McDowell High School, Class of 1958, and Gannon University with a 4-year degree in Spanish. He enjoyed studying foreign languages and visiting libraries.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Weisenbach, Sr.
He is survived by two nephews, Robert Weisenbach Jr and his wife Carolyn, of Erie, and Bradley Weisenbach and his wife Lisa, of Florida; his sister-in-law, Susan Weisenbach of Albion, and many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th Street on Saturday, May 31st from 10 AM until 10:45 AM and are invited to attend mass at 11 AM at St. Julia Church, 638 Roslyn Ave., Erie PA 16505. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
