John M. Sestak

John M. Sestak, age 53, of Girard, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, March 21, 2025.

He was born in Erie, PA on September 27, 1971, a son of the late John and Marlene (Susan) Stancliff Sestak.

John was a 1990 graduate of General McLane High School and worked for Leech Industries in Meadville, PA for over 25 years. He enjoyed a quiet, simple life and had a knack for woodworking and mechanical engineering. He had a quiet demeanor but was always quick with a joke and a smile. A loyal friend and a devoted family member, John was someone you could always count on, whether you needed a helping hand or a good laugh.

John is survived by his sister, Jessica Sestak Angle, of Stafford, VA; a niece, Kalya; a nephew, Adam; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Friday March 28, 2025, from 4:00 until the time of service at 6:00.
