John M. Fialkowski

John M. Fialkowski, age 58, of Union City, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in Erie, PA on May 30, 1965, a son of Norma Jean Jakubowski Fialkowski and the late James J. Fialkowski.

John graduated from Ft. LeBoeuf High School.

He worked at General Electric for 25 plus years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a Pittsburgh Steeler fan and a Nascar fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, James J. Fialkowski.

In addition to his mother, Norma Jean Jakubowski Fialkowski, he is survived by three siblings, James “Jim” M. Fialkowski (Brenda), Jeffrey “Jeff” J. Fialkowski (Brenda) and Julie A. Gocal (Frank), three nieces Hallie Fialkowski, Cassie McGonagle (Matt), and Christine Szymanowski (Ed), two nephews, Jeffrey Fialkowski, Jr. and Ryan Gocal, and five great-nephews, Damien, Johnny, Tyeson, Tristan and Felix. He is further survived by numerous cousins.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Private interment will be in Whispering Pines Cremation Garden.

Services were entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, PA 16510.
